Vinegar or organic yogurt...UNSWEETENED ...if this baby is breastfed....also paint your nipples peridocially with vinegar or the unsweetened yogurt....and throw away any cups or bottles he has been using....boiling just sometimes doesnt do it....if you have been using a pump...i recommend buying new parts for it rather than just boling them....but i know its pricey....try boiling first to disinfect....also no refined sugar ...again, if your breastfeeding... no sugar for you...look at his juice or whatever else he is eating ...nothing with sugar....
if you are bottle feeding...i would spoon some of the unsweetened yogurt into his mouth and throw away the bottles ...replace the nipples at least

prescription, its an anti-topical thing and you can't do that at home...its called ratio-nystatin and its very inexpensive. Thrush is painful for babies, the sooner you get rid of it, the better. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do to prevent it from returning.
