Is anybody here an actor or model that can help me become one of the two?

I've been wanting to become both of them eversince I've been little. I've been trying out for big places like South Pole, ABercrombie, American Eagle, Limited Too and so on. But I've alwayse been turned down. Any place for where I should go to or what I should do?

To become a model you must meet certain height, age and weight requirements. You must be "the look" those companies want and need. If not, they will not be interested.

Look at yourself: Do you look EXACTLY like the models in the Abercrombie, American Eagle, Limited Too ads? If not. You're not "the type" they would use.

I'm an actress and really good at drama. If you want to be an actress, you should look in your local paper and try to find auditions for any plays that might be coming up. Acting in plays is one more step to acting in movies. I'm still getting there. (oh, and some advice on the auditions. don't get nervous and try to go over the lines before your turn. Find out if they are going to supply a script to read from, so you know whether to prepare a monolouge or something. my link is the definition of monolouge)

You need to develop a resume. Act and model where you can, even if it is for free. Keep photographs, videos, reviews, etc, in a scrapbook (physical and electronic, preferably). Keep photocopies, too, in case someone wants to see them. When you have a resume, have some photos taken of yourself. There are professionals who do only this -- develop a visual resume of various types of photos for people who want to be models. Get an agent.

all i can say is if you want to be a model you better be tall and skinny
