Any object in motion stays in motion until acted on by an equal and opposite force. Such as the back of my mother's hand. This was learned while sitting on a blanket trying to kill one of my sisters in the waaaaay back of a station wagon. A quick slam of the brakes on my mother's part not only taught me that I am NEVER out of my mother's reach but also introlduced me to the principle of inertia.

And my Dad lives with my ex husband,
I give my daughters everything,
They couldn't even put a roof over my head

the biggest thing I learned was to tell my children EVERYDAY that I love them and to hold them in my arms as much as possible let them know how proud I am of each and every one of them.....cuz I didn't get that growing up....so I knew how much I wanted for my parents to just hug and say "I love you and I'm proud of you."
