ok im trying to play socom 3 online for the first time i have a slim ps2 with an adapter buillt into it ive never hooked it up before so i crudely plugged the ethernet plugged into the back of my computer into the back of my ps2. i loaded up socom and i got so far into setting up the network connection settings but when it gets to the connection test it says "connection timed out" ive already shut off my firewall and it still doesnt work. am i hooking it up right or not? thanks in advance.

you have to plug the ethernet cord into the back of your ps2 and then plug the other end into your modem or router

no u are not. u are suppose to hook it up to your internet box. not to yor computer.
