No, the same as I don't believe it will end next thursday, or whenever the next crank decides that Nostradamus predicted it to happen.

The Mayan Long Count calendar doesn't end in 2012. The 13th Baktun begins on 12-21-2012 and for some reason some people decided that meant it re-started from the beginning.
So if your thoughts that the world will end are based on the calendar ending, obviously you can see it won't happen.

The Mayans thought that but actually it will be a great astronomical experience that will happen and doesn't happen for millions of years. The world will not end in 2012, according to Nostradamus the world will end in 3786 or 3797. Don't believe in Nostradamus's predictions? go here: http://www.armageddononline.org/nostradamus2.php

In the Bible, we aren't given a specific time or year that He will return. We are told that the Rapture will take place, and then there will be 7 years of Tribulation and at the end of that time, the Battle of Armigeddon (sp?). Many people have speculated when this will happen, but noone knows.

Earth will not be destroyed, it will change in frequency (working in a higher state of consciousness) and in rotation. We are in the age of aquarius and the golden age is coming - meaning a utopian society.

The world is not going to end - it's only the ignorant atheist skeptics whom are going to perish because god is sick of these ***** destroying the earth.

Maybe even according to environmentalists! But if you are talking about Judgement day, Armageddon, no one knows the hour, not even the Son himself. I don't think God would have told the Mayans and not his son....
