Yes, you can. I worked for Emergency Room physicians for 6 years and read medical reports where women had tampons that they could not retrieve themselves. However, our doctors treated over 120,000 patients a year, and in those six years I only saw 3 cases like this. I also saw one where a young lady had to have a golf ball removed, so it was three to one out of over 700k, and therefore incredibly rare.

no it's not, your cervix blocks the entrance into your uterus so a tampon can only go about 7 inches deep into you before it will literally reach a dead end. The string on a tampon is plenty long enough to help you remove even a deeply placed tampon. I do know a girl that had sex while she had a tampon in (she was very intoxicated) and the tampon string got jammed up inside her. she had to go to the doctor's and have it removed, but this would be a very rare occurence. Just never forget you have one in and you'll be fine.

It is not possible.
I am a medical professional - and i have never met anyone who this has happend to.
Personally - i was at first scared of them, but they are so much more convenient than towels! And you feel cleaner too.
I would advise you to try one out when you are in the house, and make sure you are comfortable.
If it doesnt feel right when it is in = it means its not in properly.
You cannot lose one though, and i advise you to just try!

NO. Those strings don't break (and how could they) and in the one in a billion chance they do break, your cervix will stop the tampon from getting stuck.

No it is not possible. Because it is between your vagina and your vagina keeps hold of it. And by the way you will never lose or not find the string.
