I have these two computers and I want to combine the two of them. The Compaq has more memory and Processor speed then the Dell. But I want to combine the two mother boards so that I can have both processors and all the memory on one machine. One computer does have 4 memory slots but, the memory chips from the other computer is not compatable with the other one So thats out. Just can I combine the two of them and have both sets of memory and both processors?

No, you cannot have two motherboards and two processors at a time. Not on a consumer PC. Besides, it sounds like the components of these two machines are mutually incompatible with each other, so I wouldn't recommend transplanting any parts whatsoever, with the exception of the hard drive.
