Vista blocked the driver because the driver is not compatible with Windows Vista. Look for a new version of the driver from the hardware device's manufacturer.

don't upgrade your operating system with a brand new product until other people waste their time stressing about getting the bugs out. i have windows XP and i keep having directory problem. i am about ready to give up on Windows and go to Mac. that operating system has less bugs and less security problems. good luck.
