I always try to remember and think about the victims and their families, and the heroes of the NYPD and FDNY every day. Why have people forgotten?

Such a terrible day. When I say my prayers I still pray for the lives lost and the people who still suffer the loss. Many heroes, many victims. I don't see how anyone can forget the day, there is no need to dwell on it either. I don't believe that time heals all wounds, doesn't work for me, I have lost 3 children and it hurts as much now as it did then, never heals, just gets a little easier to live with the memories. God Bless the FDNY & NYPD & Port Authority, every time I see a fire truck my heart goes out to them, they are all heroes from coast to coast.

I don't think anyone will forget 9/11 . I think people just get on with their lives the best they can and so the next event comes along and we put the last one on the back burner. I think here in the states we really didn't give terrorism the attention that perhaps it deserved until we experienced it . Until 9/11 it was always a government thing or it was over there. The terrorist have been studing us for a long time. Watch your neighbors because it's up to us to protect ourselves .

I should hope not. You are fighting a war in a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 because Bush wanted to go there instead of being a rational human being and really searching out the terrorists. Because of this Bush must be a terrorist too.

I have wondered the same thing myself. It is sad to think that tragedies the scale of 9/11 and the OKC Bombing can be so easily forgotten by Americans. Not everyone has forgotten, but I guess people are so caught up in their day-to-day life, they forget about everything else.

Did you ever hear time heals your wounds. It will never be forgotten. The shock is not so new so all we have is the memory. I can remember exactly where i was, what i was doing, and what i said when it happened. I think about it often but not everyday. It has affected me subconsiously, I feel less safe from my day to day life. Sometimes I think, what if there is another attack?

i think of it wasn't as enormous of a deal as people make it out to because of the fact it became right into a small team of rebels no longer a rustic that attacked us. whilst in comparison with different issues this attack became into on a smaller scale. besides, after seeing how nasty New Yorkers are i assume for the reason that they have become somewhat much less horribley impolite and egocentric in line with danger they could desire to no longer forget approximately. I agree that issues like Slavery, the Holocaust and such have been lots greater terrible and that they could desire to no longer be forgotten.

Yes, it's terrible that some have forgotten;
they are too focused on Anna Nicole and Brittny Spears.
