I also believe that the Democratic Presidential campaign is going to get nasty among the top two nominees. If Hillary wins I don't think she would ask Obama to be VP. If Obama wins, Hillary won't be VP. She is too proud, having been first lady when Bill Clinton was President. Imagine that! Hillary to proud to become VP! Contrary to other responses, Hillary does not have a wealth or extensive experience as Vice President (or President). She was married to the guy who had the wealth of Presidential experience. It is really not Hillary vs Obama, but the public persona of Bill Clinton vs Obama.
I say go Obama. Untainted by Washington politics, good unifying campaign message and good judgement.

I'm been wondering about this too! Doubtful that Hillary would accept VP - she's already done that... But I bet she tries to get Obama as her VP if she wins the nomination.

I think Obama would take VP, but Hillary probably wouldn't. Sge is too proud to take a back seat to Obama. That being said, I hope Obama wins. He seems to have a great vision for America, as opposed to Hillary who is just more of the same.

No, Hillary would not pick Obama, because we already have the black vote. She would pick someone, that could bring in a constituency that the Democrats are in danger of losing or bring back a block of voters that went over to the Green Party or are voting Republican. Obama has charisma, but nothing else to contribute to a ticket and we already have that with Hillary.

Trust me, Hillary's people will not ALLOW Obama to win. It will end up as her on the ticket and him for VP. She's got a lot more pull than people give her credit for. People disappear when they cross that woman. She scares me.

Either way, highly unlikely. I think it's frivolous for Hillary to run for President. I can imagine how it'd look historically, when there's the list of presidents--and you see a husband and wife "team", sandwiched between a Bush.
In the facade of good sportsmanship (and you don't want to burn bridges in politics), it's likely one may support the other more popular candidate.

John Edwards is the odds-on-favorite to be the VP choice again.

Polling will determine who the (DNC) nominee will pick for a V.P.
I doubt either would pick the other b/c they are going to get so nasty in the run-up to the primary that the primary loser will be a burden at that point.
They both won't be on the ticket.

It would probably be a smart move to pick the second largest vote getter unless that person is very far behind. It happens all the time.

i think they will. just because they are at each others throats now does not meant they can't kiss and make up later. 1980 reagan and bush are great examples of this.
