I've had 2 vaginal births of stubborn litle boys that are faced posterior(face up). My first was a hospital birth, with an epidural. I HATED it! I couldn't move, couldn't feel the need to push, couldn't tell when my son actually emerged. It then took over 2 hours to get feelin back in my legs so that I could go and see my son. I also ended up with a second degree tear because I couldn't feel to control my pushes(pushing took 1 hour and 37 minuets!).
My second birth(9 weeks ago today), was a wonderful hospital, drug free delivery. I had my hsband and doula with me the entire time. I labored in a whirlpool, snacking and drinking juice the entire time. I was able to move as I pleased and knew when the time came to push. I delivered my son in less than 5 minutes of pushing, no tear, and was nursing him 10 minutes later. I was up within an hour, having showered and been moved into a new room.

I delivered vaginal with my son and plan to do the same with my daughter in July. I'm not going to lie the contractions hurt but I wasn't screaming like a mad woman. After about 8 hours of labor I got an epidural ahhh sweet relief. I felt nothing. Every woman's labor and delivery is different. Is there a certain thing you are scared of? Or just the whole watermelon squeezing though a key whole idea lol.

I was in labor for 6 hours at home then went to the hospital, I was made to walk for an hour, then waited 6 hours until i got an epidural. (I had only back labor, I needed the epidural because the back labor made me sick.) They broke my water 5 hours later and then 1 hour later my son was born. I pushed 3 times and he came out. He was 8 lbs, 5 oz, 19 inches long. I didn't get cut or ripped and you forget about the pain as soon as you hold your child. The only thing that went through my mind was "that was it?", "that was all i had to do?" It is worth every single bit of pain you will feel. Good Luck.
