This is for a Friday night. We're staying on the south end of the strip and won't have a car. We're a large group with varying ages...20's to 50's. Thanks!

Excalibur is at the south end and had the Tournament of Kings Dinner show. My friend liked it and would be good for all ages. The Tropicana has a good Friday Seafood Buffet and then you could go see Folies : the longest running show in Vegas. My family did that and really enjoyed it. The Monorail runs on the East side of the strip for a fair deal too if you get tired of walking and want a different look at Vegas. Check out vegas.com &/or lasvegas.com for some other options. We went to Treasure Island to eat at Kahuna Ville and stayed all night partying (even our parents!) But that may not be for everyone. MGM has an amazing buffet!! and usually run good concerts. If you make it to Fremont Street while there, then find Tony Romas (in Binions? cant remember), but they run a good later night (9pm?)deal on steak & lobster that's good. Then step out of the casino to see the Fremont Street Experience ; that's always cool and free. I hope that this helped. Have a Winning time :) Good Luck!

if you're at the south end, just a bit up flamingo, almost at paradise is Hamada of Japan. It's traditional Teppenyaki style dining. they cook the food right in front of you while putting on a show. Kind of fun and entertaining. You might like it. not too far from the strip. You will need a cab though.

The Mirage Has a great buffet, food is better than most restaurants. The Rio had a great sea food restaurant the last time I was there. Most(if not all) of the major casinos have excellent buffets and restaurants(usually more than one). Paris mimics the city streets of Paris; complete with shops, street lights, and sky. Paris has a great pastry shop(s) also, and of course French restaurants and bistros.
Venice will have Italian food as well as a canal or 2.( have only driven by V) And so on.
(I have family there so I get good intel from them.) JK

My recommendation for a dinner and show would be The Tournament of Kings in the excalibur. It's a great show (suitable for all ages) and has really great food. They bring the food to you in these stadium style seating so you never have to get up. You eat while the show is going on. It's great. Everyone will enjoy it. You are in luck...........you are near all the big Hotels they are all great.......... New York New York....... Excalibur........ Tropicana.....
MGM.......... Mirage......... etc. you can walk to all of them.

Excalibur has a great Buffet and reasonable.... the Rio has a great free show... but you need a cab.. it's too far to walk about a mile away. You will have fun..... play a few dollar slot machines at the Excalibur..... my friend hit the same machine twice... once before dinner and once after.... $800 then $400 with playing with $1 each time.
It would have been double if she had played the extra dollar.

good luck to all and have fun.......

The show at the Excalibur. It is a dinner show and very entertaining. It is the legend of King Arthur and it is complete with horses and jousting. Very colorful and very exciting. Don't worry, no horse smells while eating. The food is good also.

On my last vacation we went to the Alladin to see a variety show and before it we ate at the Cantina (i think that's what it's called, it's the place with the yard long margaritas), right inside the building. They have awesome food there, and the variety show was awesome. I went with my mom and my grandma.
