Depends on the situation, people involved and the problem presenting. For example, in case of a fire, and I know where the exits are located, I would be a leader, if not, then I would be a follower. By inclination, I am a team player and can swing in and out of both as needed, but would never stand back and wait to find out what somebody wants to do because they were too uninformed. I would make a suggestion to preserve their status.

I'm a definite leader. I know that I may come off arrogant to some people, yet I always try to be fair. I've never been afraid to look someone in the eye and tell them what to do. Of course, to earn respect, I always acknowledge a job well done and hand out a compliment when it is warranted. If someone is slacking at work, I go up to them and ask what the problem is before making any kind of judgements. A lot of time people give reasonable excuses and I am understanding in this respect. If someone is goldbricking or wasting time, I jump on them and get results, whatever it takes. It is why I have moved up the ladder at work.

The main thing I always keep in mind is this: Be Strong Minded and Tender Heartred.

I consider myself to be a leader. However, there are times when I follow. I know my place in different situations. I think we have to be willing to be both at times depending on the situation. I have always made my own way and rarely "followed the crowd" growing up.

I'm a GDI...I have no real need for people to perpetuate my ego. It's ideal to me for everyone to work together to further whatever project is at hand.
