Let me ask this: When's the last time a college coach made a smooth transition to the pro game with great success? We can discard Nick Saban, because he didn't make the playoffs, nor did his teams start the season well. "The Ole' Ball Coach" couldnt work his Fun' N' Gun magic in our nation's capital. I'm not confident that Petrino will be any different than his predecessors. People say that he can't succeed with Vick at quarterback, well with those zone-blocking o-lineman and those receivers who have a horrible case of dropisitis, no QB can succeed. What if Peyton Manning was a Falcon? Think he'd be giving his Super Bowl ring size to the manufacturers. The great Tom Brady doesn't have a top flight WR, but all of the castaways they brought in can catch. I give Petrino 3 years before he's back in college football.

isnt it bobby petrino?? as for the draft look for them to take a safety Like Laron Landry or reggie Nelson. Defensive line could be a need position as well Amobi Okoye DT from Louisville or Adam Carriker, DE.

he has what it takes, but he may choke and go back to college anyway because no coach can ever win with michael vick as the quarterback...vick takes away from everyone else in the organization as they scramble to tend to what he wants and needs to be successful, while they waste the talents of other good players

Not as long as Mikey Vick is in Atlanta, the cat needs to go. If he wants to play running back then put him in as running back and get a quarterback who wants to play quarterback.
