Why is it always U.S. involved in a war or anything there's violence going on, from Vietnam, Somalia, Iran Contra, Cuba, now Iraq? Why are we always involved in violence and wars? Other countries, such as 99.9% of Europe, China, ,Russia, Japan are not at war. We are always at war or wanting to get involved when there are wars? Why? This is pathetic?! Where's the peace?

The United States has alot of ego. We are too proud of our own government and feel that we must force democracy onto other countries.

If you think Europe is at peace, you haven't been following the news. Same with Russia. China has conflict but it's hidden. Only Japan, of the countries you've mentioned, is relatively peaceful.
The absence of War is not the same as Peace.
At least the US has relative peace within its own borders.

Well, you're lumping what we are doing now into what we have done in the past like its the same thing but it isn't.

Somalia, and Bosnia were none of our business. And if we had stayed out of those the 99% of Europe wouldn't be able to sit on the sidelines and let us do their fighting for them.

We were attacked and are fighting back. If the Euroweenies want to sit on the side lines that's fine with me they just need to stay out of the way. If we find out the German's are helping the Iranians like they helped Saddam we need to close our bases there and redeploy the 70,000 troops there to the middle east.

god how many times do i have to answer the same question....this has got to be part of a pelosi press release. were in a mess because a group called al qaeda came to nyc and blew up a building called the wtc. they had tried before as well as blowing a hole in the uss cole and african embassy buildings. our former president bill clinton did bupkus and here we are. bush decided to respond when it was clear that ethnic cleansing was going on with the kurds and also with whatever gutted intelligence network clinton had left with the budget cuts, we thought wmds were there. yes saddam was defeated, but when al qaeda came in we didnt set the rules they did. they want the west dead and could care less how or where. the choice is fight and keep the fight from our shores or do the pelosi cut and run and bring it here. to answer your question about wheres the peace...clinton and eight years of inaction brought us to this point, bush is trying to finish it, and pelosi is trying to villify bush to mask the razor thin mandate and the power grab of 06

The idea is very simple. The U.S. is working its way through fighting wars to dominate the world.
