i just had a miscarriage and had a D and E yesterday. while i physically feel fine i still have moments of weakness emotionally. i know this is to be expected. i am supposed to work tomorrow morning and i can take the day off if i need to. i don't know if i should go to work and try to get my mind off all this or if i mentally need more time to heal. this is so hard on me, but i dont know how to deal with it. any advice?

I'm so sorry for your loss. You need to take the time you need and make sure that you are ready to go back. Maybe you could take the day and meet with a counsler and talk through some of these emotions. Then go and do something for yourself. Get your nails done, have a massage......something. These things take time, but don't rush it.

When I had a miscarriage I took things slow for about a week, your body needs to rest, you should also use this time to mourn your loss, I am so sorry, and I wish you the best of luck

You should take the time off and learn to cope with it. I took two weeks off it did somewhat helped as time goes by it gets better. It happened to me 6 years ago. Sorry for your loss.
