can anyone tell me why The OC ended this year...i thought that it would have been good with them all in college..i really like the show and i can kind of see why it ended becasue they were going to college but...anyone know the real reason?

I believe the show ended because: 1) they cutted off one of their leading characters, Marissa. 2) they're competing against both Grey's Anatomy and CSI: Las Vegas. 3) the show sorta just lost its appeal after Marissa's departure.

The ratings were bad, but what did they expect putting it up against tv's two most-wathced shows. They didn't give it justice. It was so much better than last Season. I think Marissa being killed off was a good thing.

their ratings werent good. they were going against Grey's Anatomy...thats why
