It is ok your xbox 360 is just over heating a little. You can simply fix this by buying a fan. Just go to a Circut City or Best Buy and even a Micro Center. Ask them about a cooling system or fan for the 360 and they will know what you mean. This website will take you to the best rated cooler I can find. Hope it helps

Hi, you must of bought one of the early ones that microsoft gave a limited lifespan too. Did you not see the watchdog proramme 2 weeks ago. Evidently there has been loads of complaints from people who bought the first lot of 360' in November or shortly after in 2005. These must have been the ones that were rushed through manufacture or used components that packard bell and dell use in their computers. Of course Microsoft says there isn't a problem but we know different. Luckily my 360 was manufactured in Sepember 2006 so should be ok. Just bought a nyko external fan frm ebay. Would suggect anyone reading this check them out. Its worth the £10 to ensure you 360 runs cooler. So cool that the main fan doesn't need to run on my son's 360 when its plugged in. Buy another 360 core and download info off the net as to how it comes apart. Swap the internals over then take it back to the shop and get your money back. Tell them since buying it you heard about the 360 being unreliable. They will be getting back the new case with the guts of your old machine. The shop will return it to ir supplier and it will end up back at microsoft for them to repair at their expense. Is it true the US got a 2 year guarantee.

That would be the 'red ring of death', it it is that, then you would have to send it to Microsoft for repair or replacment... do some research into what exactly you see.

Look for it by searching google, and also look on www.gametrailers.com, and go to the forum. You could email Microsoft about the problem.
