If you are not in US and want to watch US tv on your computer you should look into buying a slingbox. You just have someone hook it up to their TV in the US and you get full cable tv on your computer. You can get info on slingmedia.com I have one and I totally love it!

there's a site called ifilm.com where you watch episodes of MTV shows, Comedy Central shows, and a couple others. also, abc.com has uploaded episodes of their tv shows. same goes for mtv.com as well.
