I'd say to choose the color you like the best! But you might want to keep a few things in mind. The lighter the color of the car, the cooler the interior will be in the summer. If a black car is left setting in the summer sun with the windows closed, it WILL BE LIKE AN OVEN when you open the door! Also, I think at least, that extremely light and dark colors show dirt more than medium tones.

From a safety standpoint, I've read that yellow is the most noticeable color. But I think that other bright colors are also easy to see, while gray or silver cars are easy to miss in traffic!

I hope this helps! And I hope you enjoy your new car!

For one, do not pick bright red. It's known to attract the eyes of other drivers, and they're more likely to hit you because their attention is stronger towards you. The problem with black is it shows dirt quickly...amazingly enough, quicker than white! I've found that earth tones and/or deeper, softer colors are better, because you won't catch attention as quickly by other drivers (just like before with the comment about red cars). You'll want to go with something that doesn't show dirt extremely fast.

In the end, though, it's all up to you.

USA DOD is working on this at present. The product is called Smart Paint. It is intended for military vehicles. It works once an
electric current of selected voltage surges through paint atop its
conducting metal surface. For example, on any snow covered battlefield a white tank is hard to see. Suppose snow melts and mud brown was a selective option by tank crew? Imagine having a choice of color on your vehicle that you choose on day to day basis. Today's auto choice is old technology, my dear.

Any color depends on what you want....
Black if you want your car to be warm in the sun and don't want it to get dirty easily.
White: Nice and cool but gets dirty easily.
Blue: Okay temperature.
Gets dirty easily like it shows up from far away.
