I see so many people at my job who smoke crack and ice and they don't understand that they can't controll the drug. I work in a convience store. For everyone who starts is 15 others who look all skinny and sick trying to sell their mother stuff to get high. There are so many public awarness movies and people still don't understand. What do you think? How do you think we could change things.

Well the reason they do it, as you can guess, is because it feels good. And life is sometimes dang painful.

The problem is the consequence.

You know if all drugs were legal, it would be cheap, and a lot of the suffering and crime part would go away.

Like alcohol. Some people still get addicted. But it was much worse during prohibition with all the gangster shooting and killing people.

You would have about as many addicts as alcoholics, and also the big business part would actually be on rehab places.

If you took all the gov money spent on jailing dope criminals, and put it into rehab, there would be more than enough for that small part of the population that gets into trouble with addiction. And the number of functionless persons would be reduced to the absolute minimum, whereas now we have so many lives just thrown into prison that could be self sustaining in society and working normal jobs.

You know the crime money is what keeps it illegal I think.

Theres nothing we can do to change things. People already know that drugs are addictive and that they kill. Its up to them to make the right decision. Its plain ignorance on their part if they think that they can do it and do it again and not get addicted.*
