Internet Explorer has a built in pop up blocker. To enable it go to

observe that in case you turn this off you no longer have any secure practices from rogue websites pushing application (secret agent ware and so on) onto your gadget. in case you hit a sort of websites your gadget will immediately set up it and this could trash the gadget. that's the biggest progression in secure practices that Microsoft have made, and is what makes Vista so diverse.

I heard of vista before. i have XP on my computer, and i always like to have the pop up blocker enabled. but with vista, i dont reall know. never tried it before.
