I bought a Presario, years ago, it never worked, Compaq refused any warranty work, saying it is Microsoft, Microsoft did the same, saying it is Compaq responsibility. Since, my opinion: Compaq=scrap!

I have had great experiences with both HP and Compaq products. Any company can have a problem here and there, but HP is overall very solid.

I've got a Compaq PC and an HP all in one printer and they've both been brilliant - no complaints at all. First class.

they slow down very fast depending on the hard drive.
