Are the CD's that won't play burned from a PC or from the Record/CD store? If you have a problem playing burned CD's it could be the format in which they were recorded or even the brand of blank CD. A good resouce is videohelp.com (they handle CD's / DVD's any otherstuff) here you can look up your player and find what problems other people have had. You can also find information of the blanks and the best way to record. Hope this helps.

Are you using store bought cds or are they burned cds? If they are burned, some cds have a protective block that will not allow them to be burned and therefore, your cd player will not play them. Also, if you are using cd-rs and not cd-rws, some cd players will not play the cd-rs. How old is your cd player? If it is fairly new, it may have a short or problem with it and you may be able to call tech support of the makers of the cd player and they may be able to direct you on what to do. Good luck!

Try the ones that won't play on a different player. The CDs may be defective.

You don't mention what kind of CD player you have, but I am guessing it is not compatible with MP3 or CD-RW disks. This means your CD player will work with CDs bought in the shops, but not with CDs you have made yourself.

Hope this helps you :-)
