I think it depends on which area of the country you live in. I would think that $15-20 an hour would be a good price.

Most people I know charge by the house, not by hour. That is because the people paying you would realize that you would have no motivation to clean quickly :-) Having said that, rates depend on cost of living...if houses are high cost in the area then you might be able to charge more. In my area, with the cost of living being pretty average and with my average house (3 bedroom, 2 bath) I would have to pay between $50-75 for the basic cleaning. Consider if the house has all hardwood floor as well, as that is more time consuming. Also, a lot of windows can increase the price as well. So for a 4 bedroom house you could easily start at $75 and add on for extra things like the floors or windows. Hope this helps!

Depends on the size of the house. If this house has a large eat in kitchen along with a dining room, living room and family room then I'd charge about $75 to $80. The best way for you to figure it out for yourself is to calculate how long you think it'll take to clean the house. Multiply that by what you want to charge hourly. (I charge about $20 hrly. Sometimes $15) Now you have a starting point. You can adjust it accordingly. When I go to give an estimate I bring a notebook w/ me. I jot down things I notice (hard water, really dusty..) and approximately how long it'll take me per room.

But don't charge the client by the hour. Charge by the job. Otherwise on the days you get done sooner you won't get paid as much.

have a glance on the residing house your self earlier you provide a quote. This residing house would nicely be very sparkling and in simple terms favor the wide-spread cleansing strategies. it will be a really very dirty residing house and favor two times as lengthy to sparkling it than a classic residing house ought to take. not at all quote blind. A flat cost of $one hundred. will be superb if that does no longer comprise carpet cleansing.
