This is a very personal decision that you are making. And whatever decision it is, you are making the right one.

No reason to be scared. You sound like you know what you want.

Abortion in this country is safe. That's what it's all about. Try to get it before the 12th week. But please educate yourself on birth control and safe sex, ok?

Check out:
www.plannedparenthood.org
It's all confidential.

All the best. You'll be ok.

P.S.: And please, DO NOT listen to people who tell you that "you have to live with that for the rest of your life." They are trying a guilt trip on you.
Much of the guilt that women may feel from an abortion is generated by pro-lifers who want to scare women. It's an artificial guilt. DO NOT buy into it! There is no such thing as feeling guilty about it. You are doing the right thing.

Your not going to like my answer. I am pro-life but I am going to tell you how I feel anyway. I don't think it's ever OK to have an abortion. I spent over a year and what seems like 100's of doctor appointments to try to get pregnant and here you are just throwing away the life an of innocent child. Have you ever considered adoption instead. 100's of great people can never ever have children. You can give someone that gift. How many months are you now? You have a living person inside of you. Wanna know what that looks like? I have some ultrasounds of my baby you can e-mail me and I will gladly show you. There are 2 links of how abortions are done. Read over it and think about it. Abortion is a something you are going to have to live with the rest of your life. It's not easy nor painless.

Whether or not your parents will have to consent to the abortion and/or be notified depends on the state in which you live, as does the age limit for your baby.

I understand that you are scared and upset right now, but your baby is depending on you for protection. Remember, you are a mom now, too, and you need to not let anyone hurt you and your baby. Take a look at this information:

You can still do the right thing. Yes, your mom will be upset, but would you really kill an innocent baby because someone will be mad at you if you don't? You need to be stronger than that. Don't do something now that you will regret the rest of your life. Your baby is counting on you. Just three weeks after conception, her heart started beating. At six weeks, she has tiny fingers and recordable brain waves. At seven weeks, she begins to move in the womb. If her cheek is stroked, she will turn her head. At eight weeks, she can suck her thumb. If her palm is pricked, she will open her mouth and pull her hand away. No matter what your situation, it is not your baby's fault. Your baby does not deserve to die.

i would go with adoption,...i understand you dont want to tell your parents. but they cant MAKE you get rid of the baby unless they an prove you to be incompetant. Seriously abortion is MURDER. and im sure you dont want to have to deal with this decision the rest of your life. instead,..let them find out your pregnant, or tell them whichever you feel more comfortable doing, then wait it out and give the baby to a couple who cant have one. Atleast you know the baby will atleast have a chance. Cause..hunny, 6 weeks from conception and that baby has a heartbeat! and is LIVING. You had sex,...and now you need to deal with the consequences. IF you werent ready for the commitment of being pregnant ((whether you keep the baby or put it up for adoption)) then you should NOT have had sex at such a young unstable age!

.I was a teen mom, the person I lost my virginity to ended up becomming my daughter's father. Never once did it cross my mind to have an abortion, I did not care about what anyone thought. I told myself I made a conscious desicion to have unprotected sex and that I would care for my child even if Ihad no help. Is this your boyfriend's idea or yours? Do you want to do this for the sake of his happiness or for the everlasting love between the two of you? Have this child and keep it and love it or have this baby and consider adoption. Murder and adoption emptiness that will always fill a cavity in your heart. Email me for support- thenewyear07@yahoo.com

you may take my advice, you may not. I hope you keep this baby as it will bring you lots of love and fun times. Life is strange you could have an abortion and find out later in life your chances of having a child are screwed due to the fact you had a abortion at 15. Are you're parents really that bad? If they are young enough they will help you surely. Don't go behind there backs and abort a grandchild they will love. Don't listen to you're boyfriends mom. She must be backward agreeing to this stupid idea. Ignore her speak to you're parents they will be there for you. I wish you luck.

The only way you don't need a parent is when you go to the court and tell them that your mom or dad can't find out and then they will...It only takes 30 mins to do that,And once your out of your 1st trimister you can't get on anymore

This site will better help you then anyone on here: http://www.abortion.com (click on your state then a clinic and it will tell you if a parent will have to sign for you which i believe they do)

Some states perform abortions up to 24 weeks but most places the limit is 16 weeks.

Depends which state you are in if you need permission and how late they will do it....past 12 weeks is pretty complicated. Good luck....it's a hard decision. If it does not work out there are a MILLION people wanting SO BADLY to adopt.

Contact Planned Parenthood. They can discuss your options and the laws since you're so young.
