the person who sold it to me has locked it (not to another network) but security settings. Does anyone have any idea how to unlock the phone to use?

ask the person you got the phone from what codes he/she used or try using the factory setting you could take the phone to a shop to find them out cos you have to be careful cos after a certain anount of times trying your phone will lock altogether and you will need a puk code from the mobile phone provider to unlock it

o.ok.nicely in case you pass Ebay,you should hunt intense and occasional.even notwithstanding I Didnt Get My Razr on-line.I Went On Into My vendors workplace and that i have been given A $one hundred and fifty.00 Rebate So truly I Paid Like $50 For My Razr.

The PUK number i think is 0000. Have a look at the motorola website too, just to check. I've had one for about 18 months now and the battery is flat........... :-(

unlucky this could be hard ur gonna need to contact the network operator services and ask them for a PUK code however they will ask u several codes and security questions so i hope u have gt them

NO NO HE MUST HAVE NOT LOCKED IT BY DEFAULT THERE IS A PASSWORD I GUESS
TRY UNLOCKING IT BY PUTTING SOKEME OF THE COMMON PASSWORS SUCH AS 9999 OR 0000 OR SOMETING OF THAT SORT
I HOPE U CAN DO THAT
OR GO AND ASK THE PERSON WHERE U BOUGHT IOT TO UNLOCK IT

Usually, the last four digits is the password. If that does not work, then get in touch with the person that sold it to you. If he/she refuses, return it.

They would have reported it as lost or stolen in order to claim on insurance!!!
If you contact the old service provider they will tell you which so you can complain to the owner and get your money back!
