can i wear ipod headphones or will it hurt?? will they even fit or will the earing thingy be in the way???

No. You can't wear any type of headphones until it starts healing. Your piercer should have told you that. And anyways, its going to hurt if you do.
I got mine pierced in November and I wasn't even able to sleep on that ear until mid January. You need to give it time to heal. Plus, if you use headphones, you could get it infected because the headphones can carry a lot of germs.

You should probably let it heal first.
And then, when you do listen to your iPod, use those big headphones that cover your whole ear, not the ones that plug into your ears.

I don't think you should. Get the ones that go around the outside of your ear, not the one that go in the ear. At least for a good month.
