I tried to watch videos on the computer but there wasn't any sound. I just thought that something was wrong with the videos. But then I tried to listen to my music on realplayer and it didn't work. What could the problem be? I have the volume as loud as it can go!

Go into your system sound proprties..

Click Start > "Run..." > type in "sndvol32".
Make sure all the necessary devices are unmuted (these are output volumes).

Or if you're looking for the input devices, click Options > Properties > check "Recording" and hit OK.
Make sure the all the needed devices are unmuted (these are input volumes).
