cause, like ppl say that in private evrybody rich and stuck up or somethin, i'm going to a private school and nobodys there a rich or stuck up.....and ifthe state were to make school hours longer it wouldn't affect the private school. I read somewhere that several states are considering longer school days which may include some hours during the weekend,i think.
So which would you choose private or public and whats your reason.

i go both ways for this question, in public school you get more of a reality check than in private, but in private school you learn more. I've been to both and i guess it just depends on what kind of person you are. But publis schools are starting to crack down ALOT they have cameras in them && some even metal detectors so if i was to choose i'd pick private because you feel more safe, you get a better education, and it looks good on your records for college.

I DO have babies of my own. (teen-agers) I deliver them to public college because of the fact the state I stay in makes it achievable for my oldest to flow into college as a junior particularly of a freshman basically popping out of high school (he's in sped up instructions) and so that they have got an incredible song application that he participates in. My youngest is in a undeniable application because of the fact he has autism that we are extremely joyful with and he's lots added academically than everybody dreamed he could be via incredible faculties. we've checking into private faculties and have got here upon none that grant something close to what the well-known public faculties in our section gain this we do the "loose and suitable public education" element and haven't any concern asserting so. In some (no longer all) circumstances, private would not inevitably equivalent greater valuable.

I went to public school all my life, never desired to go to a private school, made many friends and had good grades. I would choose public school over private any day. I've met a lot of kids from private school, and while not all of them are rich, they do have different attitudes from kids from public school. They act like they are better than you.

I went to a private school up til 9th grade and I switched over to public in 9th grade.

I complained about private school a lot but now that I'm at a public school I would much rather go back. All of our sports and arts and music departments were waaaay better and my classmates and I had a sense of respect for each other, something I guess you develop with smaller class sizes.

I'm going back enxt year!

I go to public and it's okay and I'm better off at a public school because of location. It's closer and since I walk to school, it's easier to skip. If I went to private, my parents would take me and then I'd have to go to school, so I'm gonna have to say I'd rather go to public school than private.
I swear, if they make school days longer, I'm dropping out

public. i went to private and it sucked big time. some people were nice (perhaps like you) but most the kids were fags there. and now they treat me like sh*t cause i go to public now. and im lovin it.

and in public, ive met many kids from different cultural backgrounds that i never would have met at private. also im taking much more advanced courses than at that private school. and i dont have to pay :]

I went to private and public schools. They both had good things about them and bad things about them. School is school. Get your education and get out. Then you can really start to complain about the workplace! Good luck!

I go to public school and I don't mind it though we do have a uniform...I think private schools in Ireland cost a fortune anyway and they're pretty competitive...
