It's called a shaving rash (shavers rash), or it could be that he's using a dirty razor. Which could be causing an infection. Tell him to buy a new razor, get a razor for sensitive skin, get shaving cream for sensitive skin, and to moisturize after shaving. If it gets really bad bring him to a PCP for treatment.

Some men experience folliculitis where shaving causes the stubs of hair to get embedded in the hair follicle which then becomes inflamed rash like. This is more common in black men. Many times, growing a beard avoids the irritation all together. The hair follicles can become infected which would be bacterial. I doubt changing products really would help. Try an electric razor. Good luck and have a great year.

it's a staph infection. Are you also using his razor? That is usually what causes it -- bacteria from one person to another. Don't share razors.

Although if he is not cleaning his razor enough, or leaving it in a place where it stays wet he's just making it happen himself. Your husband REALLY should have learned this by now, it's not rocket science and he IS an adult, right?

Tell your husband to:
Leave the razor in a glass of rubbing alcohol
Change them often
Find a non allergenic shaving cream
Don't shave too close
Shave WITH the grain not against it.

And he should be fine.

Razor burn, and he also has sensitive skin, he needs to use the right type of lotion for his face if any. His pores are also vulnerable because his pores open up with the warm water

I have the same problem sometimes, so now I shave right after I get out of the shower, No lotions or nothing. And its my cleanest/closest shave

Frankly area of that's, your husband's a jerk and taking benefit of your (and your babies's) dependence on his earnings and advantages. Secondly, that's a ingredient of a bigger difficulty in society. over the final 60 years or so, being a spouse and mom has now no longer been considered as a actual "activity" the calls for of females are starting to be to be extra (they're envisioned to be a spouse, mom and paintings all complete time if not extra, in any different case they're considered as lazy). the place the expectancies of adult men are starting to be to be much less (if a guy even sticks around) he's merely envisioned to paintings a activity, yet has no extensive-unfold jobs for the youngsters he assisted in making. third, why could you have extra babies with this guy if he did no longer already take care of the youngsters you had? different then telling him flat out that HE helped make the youngsters and HE needs to help in looking after them (different then financially). that's no longer him merely being under pressure if he became like this once you have been working. inform him your babies want high quality time (advise getting his butt off the video games). If he complains your spending too lots time at your father and mom domicile, why does not he comprise you? in case you and HIS babies are THAT lots of a burden to him, perhaps he does not ought to be around.

No bacteria here. Probably razor burns. Have him use a conditioning shaving cream and a moisturizing body lotion after the shave.
