Although plenty of times it seems the answers from each are equally random and (un)helpful, there are people on Answers who do make thoughtful, helpful posts. So the odds, only slightly, favor Y!Answers.

Depends on whether the asker is serious or ambivalent. If the latter then thet're probably better off with the magic 8 ball. Although some of the answers tend to be a bit ambivalent also.

That's good entertainment, but I hope you don't expect a star for that one.
I'd like to think that I have a lot more on the ball than the random 8-ball. Though the single ladies might think the 8-ball is harder, or that black is better....:)

Yahoo answers, because the eight ball can only respond to closed-ended (yes/no maybe) types of questions while you can ask open ended questions like (how, why where?) on Yahoo and get longer answers. Yay! Yahoo Answers!

LOL! Best Q i've seen in a while. I've seem some real REAL crappy advice from people who fail to grasp the underlying problem of any given situation. I often think people answer these questions as a coping mechanism to help normalize their own stupid behavior. Like the bitter divorced woman encouraging married women to leave their men because he won't do the laundry often enough.
