When you burn your tongue while attempting to drink/eat something that was too hot??

Oh my goodness this just happened to me 2 days ago! I don't usually drink hot drinks, but the other day I didn't have enough money to buy a pepsi from the vending machine so I bought a hot chocolate to wash down my cookies with. The hot chocolate didn't feel that hot through the cup, so I took a sip and burned my tongue really bad. It's feeling much better today.

Oh my you just hit the spot!!! I hate it when that happens cuz I feel my tongue stings and I can't really eat anything comfortably!!!

yes and usually i'm already running late. and the tea is hot off the kettle...the pancakes hot off the griddle.

Yes than you can still fell that your tounge is burnt the next day.

yeah! its horrible and then things dont taste the same for like 2 days after! and it feels all bumpy.

yep but if i know it's hot i sip it a bit first to check...but yeah that weird numb tingly feeling is annoying.
