i used to work for chanel and their lipsticks stink and taste like perfume. but i love MACs lipsticks, they dont taste bad and they smell soo good like carmel.
it depends on what kind of skin "tone" you have. warm or cold? what color are your eyes? (warm colors:anything with red or yellow tones. cool colors: anything with blue or green tones)
look at the pigment in the colors of lipsticks, even in pink lipsticks there are warm pinks and cool pinks. go to a cosmetic counter and if they are educated enough in color they should be able to help you out.
some people can wear both if the lipstick color isn't too drastic. I'd advise anything light (but not lighter than your lip color), nothing too dark, and nothing with frost. i suggest you get 2 kinds, one for daytime wear and one for night time wear.
go with anything that matches your skin tone and matches the rest of your make-up and you should find your color! :) good luck!

Try like an light pinky colour..A brand thats really good for lipsticks is MAC. Their lipsticks stay on for along time. It may be expensive but worth it in the long run. They usually have people there to help you choose a nice shade for your skin type. =)

Brands is not a big issue. The most important is that you find the right colour for your skin tone. I know MAC will clean the lipstick and let u put on to your lips, try MAC so u can see which one looks really good on you.

For color, I suggest a light pink gloss. If you want to wear darker colors, then red is sometimes alright, depending on the situation. If you want more colors to choose from, dye your hair brunette.

peachy pink and pink tones. No dark gothic colors. Also blush should be very sheer and light in a light pinkish tone. Brands would be Revlon, Cover Girl, Max, they all have a multitude of colors.

as i hadn't seen u i think of that i won't have the skill to respond to. yet i'm going to objective in the journey that your epidermis is black in coloration pls there's no choose of utilising lipsticks and in the journey that your epidermis tone is white , mild purple will flow. persist with gently the 1st cot. And persist with the 2nd cot after 12 seconds little greater darker than the previous , after which you would be able to persist with an ice cube on the lips (to make your lips glower)

Light colors! Please don't wear red!! It looks ok on some people but most have a hard time pulling it off.
