I'm not sure if my fish is pregnant, it is a little bigger since I got her but I don't know if its pregnant. Also how do you know if its a male or female?

You must first have a fish that can actually become pregnant, most don't. Then after you have established that yours can you have to make sure it is in fact a female. If it is then if it continues to get larger without any other signs like scales sticking out then it is most likely pregnant.

I could write a whole book answering this, but the new main question is "what kind of fish are you talking about?" Livebearers are easy, they get really fat when they're pregnant. Egg-layers are tough to tell, it depends on the species. But usually you don't have to worry about it because they're too difficult to breed anyway.

If you have a male and a female fish together, and they like eachother, most likely, their pregnant. If their by themselves, their most likely fat. :/ My babies get fat too. I'd advise you to put a light over them if it's fat. :D They swim well when it's light. :D
