I have a 99 eclipse spyder turbo, my trade in is from 7500-8500 dollars. I make about a thousand dollars a month and have about 300 dollars a month after paying bills for payments. I'm 18 I don't have any debts or owe anyone anything but I don't think I have any credit because I'm so young. I do have a co-signer though. I am looking for a new car- I was looking at the Jeep Commander but I need something that is fast (compared to my eclipse) and I don't know what kind of power these things have... I was also looking at the H3 there pretty nice my brother has one and he just ordered some new 30" rims for them! It's nice but I don't know if I can afford one. I'm looking for something at least as fast as my eclipse turbo was it could be an SUV or a sports car- Any help?

the top leaks, thats why im getting rid of it. The car has gotten old to me I've had it since it was new and I spent a lot of money on paint and bodywork that I don't get anything for in the trade-in but I did get top dollar rate for how many miles it has. I want something thats more modern that has navigation and new car amineties. .

SUVs are larger and slower. If you want something fast like a turbocharged spyder look in to something like a mustang or camaro if you can find one. A newer (2000 or newer) GT mustang (V8) used for between 8 and 15 grand or so. Not blown or turbocharged it will be enough power for ya. Im 19 and i have a 2005, bought it used for 19,000. Its scary how powerful it is. Good luck!

You could take the money and get performance parts for your spyder. If you need or want a new ride, then look for one that is a year or less old and already has a few miles on it. You'll save a fair amount of money that way. The problem with that is not being able to spec out the car with the options that you want or the color that you want.
With the money you make and your age, you may want to think about saving the coin instead of dropping it in a car. You may want to buy a house or get married in a few years and you may college costs too. I've dropped a fair amount of money on cars, and there was a time when I was sorry for it. Good luck man.

if you want it to be fast dont get an SUV, they're too big and heavy. personally, id like to get an 80's model Camaro or Firebird with T-tops. they've got power and style, if its a nice one it WILL turn heads! this is a freakin hilarious video! watch it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdegQmtgFSM
