I don't think there is a way to end it, completely. It's like a naughty (evil in this case) child looking to get attention to gain what he/she wants, and that's power over someone elses control. And usually the best way to handle that is to ignore it. Well you can't exactly ignore terrorism for obvious reasons, you can't ignore people getting killed etc. But the more the media advertises their cause for free, the more they are feeding the situation. I don't know the answer because you cant keep people in the dark either. I suppose you have to make the terrorists want to stop, somehow.

Terrorism in itself is a very vague word. There are many groups of terrorists all of the globe that have different ideologies and goals. I'm afraid that there is no way to end terrorism, being that it is just an idea. There are many people everywhere that have different ideas than the ones we personally do (just look at how many differing views there are in America alone), and it will be totally impossible to know when a group is going to become militant in promoting its ideas. I'd say the best ways to minimize the risk of an attack on ourselves is to identify and secure our weak points (such as mass transit systems or food and water supplies), and try to minimize illegal weapons markets because they can't fight without any guns.

By electing Conservatives into office........they are the only politicians willing to fight the radical Islamist.Liberal repubs and dems are trying to pass legislation to defund our soldiers,that will hinder our ability to fight and win.
