I have itunes - can i create a sync folder for the music library?

Question

Is there any way to have a folder of music and let the itunes library just add the new songs from that folder?
can itune ssynce itself with a folder? how do i do that?
do i have to add individual songs?
help!

You can sync music playlists or you can import a folder/songs into your library. However, the playlist must be created in itunes. go to file>new playlist, then drag and drop the music you want from you library into the folder. Next connect your ipod and go to music preferences and add the new playlist to the folders you want synced. To get music into your library go to file>add folder/file to library. Well I hope this is what you wanted and I hope it's not too confusing.
