I had a Non-stress test scheduled to be induced Monday. I just noticed well I was having a real painful contraction and went to the bathroom that I had some pink spotting is that normal? My cervix was not checked today.

That's probably the start of losing your mucus plug. That's good news!

when I was at 41 weeks, my midwives sent me for a non-stress test and told me pink spotting was a good sign that labor would start soon---sure enough my daughter was born the next morning..just relax...here comes baby!!

You could be starting to lose your mucous plug. If that happens labor usually follows within the next 24 hours. Good luck!

pink spotting is not normal. You need to call labor and delivery and make sure you don't need to come in. Because it sounds like you might need to go in if you are spotting. Goodluck and hope everything is ok

Sounds like a good sign! Congrats!

As a side note, I know you want that baby out.. but induction is VERY painful and totally pointless. Your baby will come when it's ready.
