on a daily basis? I have a friend who is prego and she takes care of herself everyday. She claims that sex with her husband is out of the question for the moment. Do any other pregnant women do this?

That's very normal. When I was pregnant with my daughter I was "in the mood" all the time, but scared to death to have sex for fear of hurting my baby. I think a lot of women do this.

Perhaps her husband won't have sex with her, or the feeling of penetration is undesirable.
Some women have low sex drives during pregnancy, and others have very high (like me).
I am going to say it is totally normal.

It is perfectly normal. During pregnancy your hormones are at a high level. This is the reason why you feel so "in the mood" all the time. So don't feel guilty. Good luck with your baby.

yes either some women are afraid to have sex in fear it may harm the baby or because of size and when you are prognant your hormones are raging therefore your sex drive is higher suggest she talk with her ob gyn about this if it is an issue of fear of sex it may help her to clear up her feelings

Maybe, I guess everyone is different. I personally could care less about sex right now, with my husband or myself.

I did it. Not every day but I couldn't climax when I was pregnant so while I had sex to please my husband I would "pleasure myself" when I felt the need.

Why not? If she's enjoying herself then more power to her. She's definently not hurting the baby, so I say she should go for it!

I WOULD SAY THAT IS VERY NORMAL... SEX CAN BE VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AT TIMES WHEN YOU ARE PREGO...SO YES IT IS OK AND VERY NORMAL GOTTA GET IT WHERE YOU CAN!
