For the first half of the movie, the action is largely a matter of hanging out, something Doug is always happy to do. Still, Katz keeps his camera close and mobile just in case anything happens. The lackadaisical atmosphere is heightened by the cutaways known as "pillow shots" in the Ozu oeuvre: Melancholy local color is provided by inserted views of lowering skies, rainy woods, empty beaches, and skyline at dusk. (The real terra incognita is childhood.)Steadily building in intensity from sluggish interest to mild excitement, Cold Weather is a slight movie with a long, circuitous fuse and that's the point.

Get some heel grips or insoles, depending on what part of the shoe is too big for you foot. If they're coming off because the leather/whatever has stretched then this would only work for a bit.

Is there something you're able to do with some stunning ribbon wrapped around? or maybe get some elastic in a similar shade and stitch it for the era of to make a strap?

That happens to me when i wear stilletos. If you can thicken up your tights, do that, otherwise you can buy insoles designed for the heel to stop it slipping. Then again, they could be big. Next time try on in shop.
