Invite some friends over for dinner and cards. We do this about every other month, and have a great time. We go to another person's house each time, and the hostess tries to show off a bit with her cooking, while the others bring a dish to pass, dessert, or hors d'euvres.
I saw on your your 360 page that you may have some kids. If you're in a cold weather area, take them out for night-time sledding or cross country skiing, if there are trails or hills near you. Outside at night under the stars is always fun, and they'll remember it for a long time. Or take them rollerskating, if you want to stay indoors.
If there's a YMCA nearby, they often have kids programs that might be fun. Look into what they have. If there's a nature center, they may have something, too.
Take a class through the local adult ed. program. Find their website or catalog, and see what interests you. It might be computers, kayaking, scrap booking, learning a language or a musical instrument.
Look through the local section of your newspaper for the community calendar section. There might be a film festival, or a lecture, or a travelogue. There may be a wine tasting seminar, or something else you've never considered.
Good luck!

Invite all your girlfriends over like old times and watch movies, gossip, eat brownies, have ice cream, and just hang out! Plus it doesn't cost much!
