when we make a call ,the receiver will get our mobile phone number in their caller id. but my frends says that there is option to hide our caller id . is it so?

YES on most mobiles there is an option to hide ur id if u r using a Motorola go to settings-in call setup then my caller id ope this helps

You can dial *67 before a phone number to block yours, so it comes up as "private number" on the other person's caller ID. Under Network Settings, you can sometimes just change it to "Hide Id"

Ya, U can Change your caller identity Settings,But you need to Tell Your Service Provider To Change It.

Actually then the Service Provider Tells You to get a letter from the police...why do u dont want to show your identity..This is alll

Basically ..it is done by big people,celebrities..etc

In India,this kind of facility is available only to V.I.Ps.If any other person wanta to use this facility,he has to take a approval letter from the police authorities.They will provide u this letter only if U have a genuine reason
