my period is almost 2 weeks late. today i had a blood clot and now its turned into watery brown discharge. The clot was dark red. Ive never had this before... could it be a miscarriage?

It could have been - the same happened to a friend of mine and she went to the doctors. The doctor said it was probably a miscarriage. I think that miscarriages this early on are common - one in 3 pregnancies - just that most people don't notice or realise.

It's possible, you might take a pregnancy test because it may still come up positive. But I would most definitely see a gynecologist stat if you suspect it is a miscarriage.

if you are 2 weeks pregnant the embryo would be maybe smaller than your thumb nail so it is probably just a dodgy period.

any cramping or discomfort? clots don't necessarily mean miscarriage.if nothing else happens by tomorrow call your obgyn ..be safe !!!
