It's like when someone asks for the lyrics to some song, and 10 people go and post the same answer.... Pretty useless :P

Not if I'm saying the same thing everyone else has. Sometimes, I'll answer a question and while I'm answering someone puts the same thing I'm writing. Then, I go back and delete it, unless I'm lazy.

No, I just give thumbs-up to good ones and thumbs-down to bad ones. Or maybe I repeat the correct answer and suggest that the one who gave it gets 10 points.

as to part one, yes, if i can add something i consider witty that no one else has posted.
if i have nothing to add, i'll just thumbs up the ones who answered well.
