I lived in Europe for 4 years - 1978 to 1982.
Bush didn't even imagine being president then.
We traveled - and some places were better than others. Some people treated us well, some not so well.
It's the same worldwide now - some people treat us better than others.
Did you ever hear about the Bible stories - something about Jesus - who had to shake the dust from your sandles - when others don't want you - - - and go on!
Just remember that the rest of the world thinks we're number 1, and rich, plus there's always someone trying to knock us out of first place!
GOD bless America always!

Rather European than American slave. America (US) is only for America(US) everyone else, including Briton are used until either they tire of us or we don't do what they demand, then they send in the bombers and hang the Leaders.
America(US) does not really like Briton. It goes back about 200 year grudge, which those who have been subjected to their propaganda will realise. Hitler didn't defeat the Russians like he promised so they went after him, did not matter that Briton was being bombed to her knees, in their opinion, we deserved it. Also, in the same vein, their President's family was cautioned by the US Government for selling arms and supplies to the 3rd Reich, well after D Day. Makes you really want to support him doesn't it.

Who's we?
Europeans don't like some of us because we claim to speak English but can't even spell the word.
Well, actually, they're jealous because we're taking over their old empire. American troops everywhere. It's like the has been looking at the upstart.
Passport control? In most countries I've been to, white people get through quicker, whatever the nationality (wanna get through quicker in France? never go behind a traditionally dressed Muslim).
But if I had to work in passport control, I'd have that "I'd rather be on an assembly line" look on my face as well.
I find that most nice people like America, most alcoholics, mentally ill veterans and dole spongers hate it.

I like America, I just don't like some people IN America. Particularly the ones that bash it and our President! You wonder why no one likes us?? Because of our instability! We are a nation torn apart and we are no longer a country to look up to. This battle the libs and dems have staged has obliterated any credibility we had. Had we all just stuck together......? I wonder if liberals have a higher divorce rate? It would make sense!

Does anybody like anybody. It is easy to say we don't like America because "Dubya" insists on sticking his nose into everything. I am sure that there are plenty of very nice people in all nations of the world including the USA but as the saying goes, "It only takes 1 bad apple"

Have you heard our dutiful media announce to US citizens lately, that the Muslim Brotherhood(here 'The Muslim American Society') created 'The Project'. It's just the coordinated plan of Radicals HERE IN USA to build up a presense then show themselves as a force and eventually take over? For your own good don't assume this is b$, please just review at least one of the sites.

Perhaps its just the way they look at you. I've never had any hostility from any European national or, for that matter from any American and I have travelled extensively on both continents.
The US and European nations are our allies - we don't have to chose between them.
P.S what European Passport control - once your across the Channel there is no passport control (Schengen?)

If you behave yourself and don't throw your weight around you will be treated well. Try to speak their language and use their money not demand they take greenbacks. They appreciate a little respect. To get respect, give it.
