No - you're not. You can't make someone feel a way they don't. You need to sit and talk to him about it and be ready for huge confrontation. You might not like what you hear. If you aren't ready for the truth - don't ask. He may simply not realize he's doing it. You never know which way he'll go.

Man's best friend?! A little extreme. Next time the dog does a naughty in the house make him clean it up. If the dog knocks something off the table and it breaks make him buy you something new. Sounds like the dog could use some obedience lessons. Husband too??

well seems like to me there is and issue and all and it needs to be solved and all. I would suggest talking with your husband and telling him how you feel and all and don't hold nothing back at all.
I also think that if you and the dog and him don't get along then I would also suggest maybe finding another home for the dog or your husband because if it is coming between your marriage then something has to happen. have you considered marriage counseling?

If you are really worried about him liking the dog better than you and the kids, you need marriage counseling. This isn't about the dog. It's about your not having a good relationship. It takes two to make or break a marriage. Get moving to remedy this situation, honey, for the sake of your kids. And learn to love his dog.

wow....

I would dump him...

take the kids and run!

He can get married to his dog!!!

What is the matter with that man???

Something is going on...if you want to work at this...have fun...it won't be easy and chances are you will get nowhere!
Find a way to make him see you are feeling left behind and if things stay this way, you will move out and go to Tough-Cookie-Ville USA! He can then be extatic, happy in love with his dogs, he can come home and kiss her and live in dog turds and broken furniture and wet carpeting...

Meanwhile get yourself and your children into the right place, situate yourself, educate yourself, work for yourself, learn what happened! Then find someone who will love you and your children without compromises or judgement.

Try talking to him about it. Tell him it might be worth while to try out some behavior courses for the dog. He obviously loves the dog and this could be a way to get your husbands dog to fit in better with the rest of the family.

What I would do is tell him to clean up the mess that she makes unless he already does.....but yes there is a problem here. Ask him if he would rather sleep with the dog also and you and the kids can just go be happy somewhere else. good luck

I thought that was only a comedy skit.........

Babe...you gotta dog lover to the nth degree.

If the dog was there before you....you're gonna have one heckuva hard time....the old "dog was here first" deal

If the dog showed up AFTER you....you better sit down with hubby and explain ITS a DOG....YOU'RE the WIFE

Oh hell with it....EITHER CASE....ITS A DOG...YOU'RE THE WIFE

Tell him one more thing....if he annoys the dog enough....he'll have a pizzed off dog. If he annoys YOU enough....he'll pay alimony

sorry I can't answer that question, cuz I have the same problem. The dog rules, so I feel as though I am less than a dog:(
