intel celeron processor is much better then a pentium 3

intel celerons are a newer processor than the older pentium 3
also the pentium 3 processors suffered from overheating, this is why they never really sold very well, thus the introduction of the pentium 4,s
the celeron is a good all round budget processor, with clock speeds ranging from 2.0ghz up to 3.2ghz
good luck

Efficiency wise I'd say the pentium 3 1.0 due to most celerons do not have any L2 cache which helps with the instruction sets for the processor.

depends on manufactured date and all. also what you mean by 'powerful'. the celeron is faster, but i can guarantee the P3 has a better clock cycle and can do just as much. either way, they are both Intel, so they both suck :P
