He's not. I think the following would have something to say about that:

Cannavaro, Puyol, Terry, Ferdinand, Gallas, Toure, Carragher, Lahm, Maldini, Vidic, Agger, Nesta, Lucio, Samuel and Marquez.

All are better than Materazzi!!!!

Cant really argue with that. Try having all 3 of them in 1 team and playing 3-5-2. See if anyone scores against them.

you have to be kidding yourself. Ferdinand, gallas, cannavaro, terry, puyol, zambrotta etc are all much better than him. he might be in the top 15-20 but not top 5 or 1 for that matter.

I admit hes good but cannavaro, john terry and jamie carragher are much better.
