It's about a girl with her bf, anytime she does something annoying to him. He never broke up with her.
But then there was a war at Vietnam and he went there to fight.......but never came back.

Okay I really need to know the author because I have a test on it and I lost it. So I want to look it up on the internet but it has alot of peoms with that sort of name. So far I cant find it .

The Vietnam War:
Learning to Care, Caring to Learn
by Pat Bowes

The following poem written by a young woman to her boyfriend in Vietnam
expresses the feeling of why this unit was written:

Things You Didn’t Do

Remember the day
I borrowed your brand new car
and I dented it?
I thought you’d kill me,

but you didn’t.

And remember the time
I dragged you to the beach,
and you said it would rain and it did?
I thought you’d say, “I told you so,”

but you didn’t.

Do you remember the time
I flirted with all the guys
to make you jealous,
and you were?
I thought you’d leave me,

but you didn’t.

Do you remember the time
I spilled strawberry pie all-over
your car rug?
I thought you’d hit the roof,

but you didn’t.

Yes, there were a lot of things you didn’t do.
But you put up with me,
and you loved me,
and you protected me.

There were a lot of things
I wanted to make up to you
when you came back from Vietnam.

But you didn’t.
